Nestled in The Outpost building, Brim is a popular new cafe in Pinehurst, NC, renowned for its artisan coffee, scratch-made breakfast and lunch options (like irresistible bagels!), and authentic gelato. This cozy atmosphere, combined with the Given Tufts Bookshop, makes it a community hub for books, events, and live music. Think of Brim as "Pinehurst's living room." As I set up my easel outside, I was captivated by a couple sharing a tender moment—an embodiment of love against Brim's vibrant backdrop. Their joyful connection, enhanced by Italian sodas and the cafe's warmth, creates a scene that truly defines what makes Brim the heart of Pinehurst.

Romantic Dining at Chapman's Food and Spirits in Southern Pines, NC

In Southern Pines, Chapman's Food and Spirits offers a romantic dining experience with its enchanting outdoor patio and inviting restaurant. Known for its inventive pub fare—including the beloved French Dip sandwich, mouth-watering crawfish fries, and classic Haddock & Fries—the restaurant is a culinary haven. The cozy bar area adds to its charm, creating an atmosphere that is casual yet intimate. Painting couples enjoying meals here reminded me of the power of shared experiences. Each dish—from the unique Hamm Burger to the exquisite shrimp peperada ravioli—paints its own picture of love on the canvas of Chapman's delightful setting.
