A Visit to Cassy Tully — Fine Art Gallery & Studio: Where My Paintings Find a Home

Updated: Mar 20

Allow me to introduce you to my work on view at Cassy Tully — Fine Art Gallery & Studio in historic Aberdeen, NC. Come experience original paintings in person, meet us at live-painting events, and take home a piece of the Moore County area's artistic spirit.

Cassy opened her beautiful gallery and studio storefront in 2024, and it’s become a wonderful home for my landscapes and local work alongside her championship-inspired collections. The space is warm and curated, with rotating exhibitions that mean there’salways something fresh to discover. If you’re visiting the Moore County area, this is an easy and rewarding stop.

Cassy is an American artist and philanthropist, originally from Wisconsin and now based in the golf mecca of Moore County. She’s nationally known for her golf-course portraits painted en plein air, using a signature relief-painting technique that blends painting with sculptural texture. Cassy builds rich, three-dimensional surfaces with acrylic gel mediums and even incorporates actual sand from the courses she paints—bringing a literal piece of the landscape into each work.

Her ties to the professional golf world run deep: she’s served as official tournament artist at events like the 43rd Ryder Cup (2021) and the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open, and has partnered with organizations including the PGA of America, the USGA, and the Arnold Palmer Foundation. Cassy also channels her success into philanthropy through the Cassy Tully – Heritage Scholarship, helping emerging artists pursue their craft.

Cassy and I collaborate often—events, gallery talks, live demos, and community openings where we share techniques, stories, and the inspiration behind our work. We recently traveled to Pebble Beach together; she painted en plein air on site while I explored new local series inspired by the dramatic light and shoreline. Those trips always spark fresh ideas and create pieces that resonate with collectors and visitors alike.
